When we were first married, we often spent our Sunday afternoon's driving through the Kentucky landscape with the windows down viewing God's creation.

This past Sunday was too beautiful for us to pass up another opportunity to make a break from the sleep-eat-church-eat-sleep-eat-church-eat-sleep routine we often have for the Lord's Day.

We made a trip around the outskirts of town, stopping at Peaks View Park and then driving through some of the older areas of the city.

We enjoyed not only the landscape, but the animals as well.
The kids enjoyed the exercise activities along the path.
