We attended our first US Civil War reenactment, the Long Road Home. It was presented by the Appomattox County Historial Society at Clover Hill Village, just around the corner from Appomattox Court House.

The Battle of Cold Harbor, took placed from May 31 - June 12, 1964.

After the battle's conclusion, Josh visited the Confederate trenches. 
Later in the day, we toured the village and enjoyed the music and exhibits.

On the way back from Clover Hill to our van, Josh and Christy realized that this was their first trip on a REAL SCHOOL BUS!
