We toured the 1852 Homestead of the Washington Duke family.
We then drove on to Raleigh and saw the famed Executive Mansion.
... then to the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences to see the Acrocanthosaurus.
... and the butterflies in the Living Conservatory.
We visited the Rose Garden in Raleigh.

Later, we enjoyed antique-ing at the North Carolina State Fair and dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.
